Hi all, I'm still here, and am going to restart my blog. More as a personal diary, rather than anything else. Watch this space!

As I have said above, You are all beautiful and You all scare me. In a funny way I don’t know how to connect with you.


In theory I should be able to talk to you all- after all we share a common “thing” don’t we?

So why can’t I?

You are all beautiful and confident, or at least that’s what it looks like to me.

Which makes you all very scary.

All a bit too much at the moment, don't know where to start.

I'm still here, don't you know?

Golly and gosh, hasn’t it been a long time since I updated my blog?


How very remiss of me.

So much has gone on since my last update.

My new job last year didn’t work out, ending in redundancy this time last year.

I then spent 4 months unemployed looking at myself, my life and what had happened.

Thankfully I managed to get a job. A good one, which I enjoy.

I’m in a good place now- things are starting to get better again.

I didn’t get to any events this year in kit- I went to the bunker bash, and hid behind my camera in civies.

HOPEFULLY Crich this April is what I’m aiming for.

Until something else rains on my parade!

Monthly Update

I guess its about time I wrote another one of these. I have been doing lots of hours at my new job, but still finding lots of time. strange. I guess alot of it is about being in a good place in my head, which I am, most of the time.


I'm doing lots of stuff towards getting sorted for going to a 1940's event. I'm quite happy with how its going, i'm just getting round to polishing the look.

As you can see, the basics are there, I just have to fill out the gaps.

Bit like life really.

Its all about circles

Well,
First things first, my foot works again. Which is good.

I got an old bike... need to make it a working old bike now...

Its ironic really, 15 years ago I was tinkering with pushbikes. I guess things have come full circle, so to say.

I left my job yesterday. After 2 1/2 years. I should be glad to go, the company has messed me about, made me redundant etc, yet I'm still sad about it.

Another circular thing is re-enacting... for those that don't know what it is, google it

I'm looking to get involved again. not in the same group I was previously, but a completely different one. But we will see.

So watch this space...

But as they say, New Year, New You (I know its the end of March, but I'm a bit slow)

Whats good at the moment?
start a new job in 2 weeks time, more money, better hours.

What am I excited about?
Ponies. Well that's a bit of a constant really :-)

Old Push-bikes. I am so looking forward to the better weather and exploring "cycle-chic" there will be more updates when it stops raining.

Whats bringing me down?
My left foot. I can't work out if I have strained something or broken something- all I know is it
hurts.
Lots.

Whats on my Ipod?
About 2 days worth of music, but the band I keep hitting repeat on is Bellowhead. Again.
